Day 1: Colour Analysis 

• We get comfortable and have an informal chat about who you are, what you currently do, why you're here and what you want to achieve by the end of the week.
• We'll discuss the agenda for the week and what you're going to learn. 
• We start the week with our first module: Colour Analysis, from the beginning! We teach the history, theory and principals of colour analysis. You'll learn how colours are combined, how they work together, how they formulate a palette. You'll understand how to work with fabric drapes, how to colour clients, how to discover colour palettes in-store and how to combine outfits through colour. You'll also understand more about colour psychology and, most importantly, how to communicate and connect with your clients. 
• In this colour session we cover seasonal, tonal and combined colour analysis principals.

Day 2: Style & Shape

• This day is focused on 3 areas: Style Personality, Body Shapes & Body Proportions. 
• Style Personality: Learn how to work with one of the most important tools for styling; understanding your clients' association with their clothes and personal style. 
• Body Shapes: Understand the basic principals of dressing standard body shapes. 
• Body Proportions: Look at more detailed ways of analysing body shapes that don't fall into generic categories. 

Day 3: Wardrobe Management

• A closer look at wardrobes in 4 ways:
• Organisation: Learn different ways to re-organise client wardrobes and analyse contents
• Maintenance: Understand the best ways to maintain a healthy wardrobe and how to keep clothes at their best.
• Storage: Learn a variety of ways to fold, store and hang clothes
• Putting clothes together: Understand how to apply your styling skills in your clients' wardrobe and create new, inspirational ideas. 

Day 4: Personal Shopping

• An opportunity to put everything you have learned so far into real-life practice: personal shopping
• Understand how to shop effectively in-store
• Preparation required for working with clients
• How to shop efficiently online for clients 
• Different tools required for shopping with clients online & offline 
• In-store practical learning 
• Increasing brand knowledge 
• A look at seasonal trends 

Day 5: Business Strategy

Online 

• This session is a live online session centered around your business basics and action planning. Including: 
• Where to start planning your new styling business
• Looking at your business foundations including market research, identifying your client, competitor analysis, your core values & business vision. 
• Planning a longer term strategy for your business 
• Practical learning and implementing processes on the spot. 

By the end of the week, you will be fully equipped with the knowledge to work with clients immediately. As part of your study with us, we will give you access to our supportive personal styling community before your training so you can get started on your business and ideas before you launch. As soon as you sign up, we will grant you access to our community, so you'll feel like a stylist and part of our team before you even start!

While our core hours are 10am-4pm, it's advisable to allow additional time. There's always a lot to squeeze in! All timings are approximate and will depend on numbers within the group. Our approach is very flexible. If you have to leave earlier or arrive a little later, we can put things in place to accommodate you and ensure the experience is the best it can be for your circumstances.
